Julian Gould-Williams is a Professor of HRM at Cardiff University, Business School, UK. His research interests are in the fields of HRM, Leadership, Public Service Motivation, and employee performance and well-being. Julian has published in the Journal of Applied Psychology, The International Journal of Human Resource Management, Industrial and Labor Relations Review, British Journal of Industrial Relations, Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, and Public Administration.
Julian’s current role at the Business School is Director of Undergraduate Studies. He oversees 2,000 students studying Business Management, Accounting and Finance, and Economics related degrees.
In January 2019 he was awarded an Advanced HE grant to promote student well being and mental health within the School and broader academic community. As project lead, Julian is pioneering proactive responses to assist students with their studies through a multi-stakeholder approach.
